I’m such a fan of Haute Barre at The Shops at West End in St. Louis Park. I’ve been a HauteBassador since they opened three years ago. I adore the studio and the community so much that I went through their exclusive Haute Shake-it barre training and I help them with their marketing efforts.
So, when I found out they were launching “Rejuvenate” (their 60-minute yoga class), I was thrilled. Does it get better than barre and yoga at one studio? Well, if I could convince them to somehow add cycling then it would be the perfect trifecta – but you can go across the street to Surge to get your cycle on.
I hear all the time that other yoga studios are too hot, too full and offer complicated sequences. Well, if you are looking for something new or have never tried yoga, then go to Haute Barre and check it out. All levels are welcome (no really, this class is legitimately for everyone). The room is slightly heated, so you won’t feel like you will pass out (and you can still feel comfortable running to Target after class).
I usually take the Wednesday night classes – the 5:30pm Haute Shake-it barre class and then follow it up with the 7pm Rejuvenate. It’s the perfect combination of hard work and stretchy-stretch.
What you need for a Rejuvenate class? Yourself (obvi), water, a towel and a mat if you have one. Haute Barre does have mats to share if you don’t have your own. Both barre and yoga are done barefoot, so need for shoes or socks. Sign up for classes online to make sure you have a spot.
Rejuvenate is offered on Sundays at 11:15am and on Wednesdays at 7pm, but keep on eye on the schedule for more classes to be added.
And, I have a super awesome special for you if you are a newbie to Haute Barre! Use this link to purchase and I’ll see you at the barre for some yoga (and barre).
