How many lip products does it take to cure the driest of lips? Well, it took several until I found the ONE. This bad boy of a balm comes with me everywhere.
You’re thinking it aren’t you? WTH?! I was too, until I actually tried it and found it to be the most amazing lip product ever. Okay, okay – it was originally created for nursing moms that had sore nipples (that’s why it’s called nipple balm). It went from a nipple balm to a secret weapon in many makeup artist’s bags.
Made with medical grade lanolin, which is a natural healer and moisturizer, it can be used anywhere you need hydration – lips, nipples, cuticles, calluses, sunburns, baby rashes, and scars. I use it daily on my lips and cuticles and absolutely love it. Being 100% natural and formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, you can feel good about putting it on the most sensitive of skin.
Out of the tube it has a yellowish tint, has a thick ointment like consistency and is completely odorless. You would expect it to sit on top of your lips because of the thickness, but within a few minutes, it absorbs and leaves your lips moisturized, a bit glossy and totally kissable.
I bought mine on Amazon after seeing it at Anthropologie. Note: it was $16.50 at Anthro and $18.50 on Amazon. Either way, it’s worth it!
