I’m at the end of day 2 of the MAKwellness cleanse. It’s been so long since I’ve cleansed, I’ve forgotten what an addict I am. The lack of sugar and caffeine is kicking my booty.
No one told me it was going to be easy, but it should be worth it. What I’m hoping to accomplish with this cleanse is to cut back on my sugar intake and stop the mindless eating. I’ve gotten so accustomed to having “a little something sweet” after every meal, and not thinking twice about it.
So, what have I been eating?
Smoothies (peanut butter/banana power shakes)
Veggies & hummus
Fat Free Greek Yogurt
Salmon on greens
Oh, and caffeine free tea
This is just what I’ve been eating, there is much more that you can eat. I go for easy.
Basically, I’ve been eating very clean. Tomorrow, fish and gluten are eliminated from my diet……time for quinoa and beans.
