Okay, my hiatus is over….my sister finally had her baby, and he was worth the wait. Lil Emmett is the most adorable little boy I’ve ever seen – seriously.
Back to blogging – I was over at the Galleria on Thursday night and found myself at Ampersand playing with nail polish. I typically pick up my Deborah Lippman lacquer there, but I decided to go with Butter London this time. Butter London polishes are known to be highly pigmented giving your nails a look that’s more vibrant. They are free of formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP – bonus! I chose a pink and a glittery pink – weird, I know.
LOVE these polishes. At $14 each, they are spendier than the drugstore, but less expensive than Deborah Lippmann. Sometimes Nordstrom will have a buy one get one special.
When they say they are highly pigmented, they mean it. The light pink went on smoothly and very vibrant. I went with two coats and it was perfect. The glittery color is best to go over another color (in my opinion). One coat of sparkle was all I needed. Drying time was just a few minutes – quick.
I have a feeling I will be hoarding Butter polishes from now on – they are pretty amazing.
Have a great week!
