waiting for a signTrue statement: I live in my yoga pants and leggings.

It’s a rare occasion that you find me in jeans anymore.

Well, the good thing about stretchy pants is that they are comfortable, you are always ready to hit a yoga class, and when you over indulge in sushi you don’t have to unbutton your jeans (or something like that).

The bad thing about stretchy pants is that they allow you to be comfortable all the time, even when you over indulge in sushi. You become TOO comfortable. Yes, this is a bad thing, because the ugly comes next.

The ugly thing about stretchy pants is that once you decide you want to wear jeans, they are a wee bit tight. Crap.

Yep, this is what happened to me. It just got real, and now it’s time to bust ass at the gym and more importantly, clean up the diet.

Maybe you are like me and sweat it out for a couple hours at the gym, then when you get home (past dinner time) you are starving. You probably start a somewhat healthy dinner, but snack on the unhealthy crap while you wait for your actual dinner to get done. Now, you’ve just consumed more calories than what you just burned at the gym.

So, tomorrow I am heading to the grocery store with a list of clean foods to buy. It’s fruits, veggies, salads, and salmon for a while.

If you have any good (easy) recipes that are clean and don’t include beef, pork or chicken, send them my way. Key word being easy!

Have a great weekend!

xoxo,

Jeanna

I noticed that Lifetime was having a workshop at Lunds that walks you through reading labels, what brands to buy, where to find the healthiest foods, etc……We should do it!

Aww man! I was hoping you’d tell me what leggings were the best for going out versus working out… I totally feel you on the jean reality!! But spring is coming and that means figure flattering sundresses!!!

      Hey Katie!
I like the Hue leggings and the JCrew leggings – both are less than $50 and come in a variety of colors!!
